Police Arrest fake pastor in Nsukka

Police in Enugu State, on Thursday in Nsukka, paraded one Chinedu Nnaya, the alleged founding father of a pretend deliverance ministry.

Nnaya was purported to have established the “True Vine Ministry” that he used to extort cash from individuals so as to conduct family deliverance for them.

The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Enugu State, Mr Ebere Amarizu, said luck ran against the pretend pastor when his last victim, Mr Prince Divine, a contractor inside Nsukka, alerted the police when a total of N60,000 was allegedly extorted from him

He said, “The pretend pastor used tortoise, chains, padlock and a bag of salt to deceive individuals into believing that he was conducting deliverance.

“The last victim alerted the police, our men were placed on surveillance, when the last victim on arrangement with the police invited him to a different family for deliverance. it absolutely was there he was arrested on Wednesday.”

Amarizu said, “It was within the method of the deliverance that we tend to discovered that the tortoise and padlock, he claimed were buried within the compound by enemies, were really planted by him.

“They were planted when he sent all people out from the area at some extent throughout his pretend prayers.

“He was paid N60,000 for the work and his flight price tag, as he claimed to own come back from Abuja.

“It was later discovered that he's living in Nsukka. He even told us he's operating with the Adoration Ministry, Enugu. however we tend to conjointly discovered that he's a liar”, the police spokesperson disclosed. NAN
