My name is Emmanyra. One word! I am a Performing Artist out of Houston Tx. I just recently graduated from Texas Southern University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Administration with a Minor in Public Affairs.

Now that I have obtained a degree I have completed my promo album which features full production from KC Boy and Justin Caes. The music is a fusion of Afro Pop and Hip Hop and is set to be released in the fall of 2011. My promo album will be entitled “Emma Nyra Hot Like Fiya”. My main musical influence is Don Jazzy because he has set the bar on where hardwork, humility, and raw talent can take you.

My other accolades include the fact that I have also acted in various Nollywood films including Rebound with Van Vicker, Desmond Elliot and Uche Jumbo, and The Reunion which features Ini Edo and Pascal Atuma. I am also a runway model and have walked in over 50+ runway shows including the Nigerian Reunion fashion show this past summer in Orlando Florida.

Breaking News: Boko Haram Claims Responsibility for UN House Bombing

Islamist extremist group, Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for the UN bombing in Abuja.
A caller told the BBC on phone that it carried out the attack.
Also, another Boko Haram 'spokesman' claiming responsibility for the deadly attack said, they were guided by the wisdom of Allah.

"Through the wisdom of Allah, we have launched the attack with absolute precision," the man who identified himself as Abu Darda said in a telephone call to an AFP journalist.

"The attack was carefully scripted and executed. We have said it several times that the UN is one of our prime targets."

The veracity of his claim could not be verified."We will provide details of the martyr who carried out the suicide attack," the man said.

"More attacks are on the way, and by the will of Allah we will have unfettered access to wherever we want to attack. We have more than 100 men who are willing to lay down their lives for the cause of Allah."

The blast at about 11 a.m. left a gaping hole in the compound, which houses about 400 people working for 26 U.N. humanitarian and development agencies. It's not clear how many were present, but dozens were injured

.This marks the first attack on the U.N. by militants in Nigeria. Past attacks by Boko Haram, a group that models itself on the Afghan Taliban, have been launched on national government targets, mainly in the north. The largest previous bombing, of the police headquarters in Abuja in June, killed six.

MBGN Universe 2011 Sophie Gemal heads to the Miss Universe pageant in São Paulo, Brazil, WILL SHE wIN????

The 2011 edition of the Miss Universe pageant takes place on the 12th of September 2011 in São Paulo, Brazil. Tickets for the 60th anniversary edition of this event are already sold out and most of the 89 pageant contestants are already in the South American city.

Nigeria’s representative, Sophie Gemal is ready for the challenge and is hoping to follow the footsteps of Agbani Darego – the only Nigerian representative to reach the Top 10 of the Miss Universe pageant. This move was a precursor to her eventual victory at the Miss World pageant that year.

All Miss Universe contestants will participate in individual and group photoshoots, Naija4Lyfe will bring you all the glam photos.

News broke that Ghanaian star actress Jackie Appiah is in a sizzling romance with Ace Radio Presenter Abeiku Santa following a sex role she played with him in an upcoming movie titled ‘Death After Birth’.

In the said movie, Abeiku Santana was seen busily ‘banging’ his waist behind Jackie Appiah and groaning, “Wow aaoo! Give it to me… I hear you are good, wow.”

Attention!!!!!! WAEC has decided to re-mark exam scripts due to mass failure.

Attention Everyone who sat for the just concluded WAEC exams please read what WAEC is doing, this is some sort of breaking news. I was shocked when i heard the percentage of students that failed the 2011 West African Examinations council (WAEC) exercise.

So don't be scared because there is good news for you if you are among them (the failures). The exam board has decided to re-mark the exam scripts which might eventually have your results changed to a better one. Kindly purchase a Waec scratch card (if you have not used the previous one up to five times) then visit WAEC RESULT CHECKING PAGE.
However, before you can complete the result checking process, you will need to provide the following:

Your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.
Card Serial Number found on the
Reverse side of your Scratch card.
Personal Identification Number (PIN)
on your Scratch card.

You might be lucky to have better results than the previous ones. According to media, this action was taken to reduce the rate of mass failure in the exercise.
