US rapper Rick Ross has been reported unconscious and is receiving CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) from paramedics who are trying to resuscitate him.
The 35-year-old rapper was flying from Fort Lauderdale, Miami to Memphis, Tennessee when he fell unconscious. The plane was forced to make an emergency landing.
However, DJ Sam Sneaker, a reported member of the Rick Ross crew has confirmed via Twitter that the rapper is ‘good’. ‘I’m wit @rickyrozay now he good…’ @DJSamSneaker tweeted. It is believed that Ross has regained consciousness.
Label mate, Wale too followed up with a Tweet suggesting that the rapper’s condition is now stable. ‘I just talked to Ross…he’s 100 pct ok…@tmz#dontpanic#dontpanic#mmg !!!! #gfid dec 13th!‘, @Wale tweeted.
Ross is the founder of record label Maybach Music Group which houses other Hip-Hop acts like Wale, Meek Mill and others. In 2006, the Miami-based rapper signed unto Def Jam Records through affiliate label Slip-N-Slide records and released his debut work – ‘Port of Miami‘. He has released four solo albums and featured in several collaboration albums
