Meet Miss Chinenye Ezurike, the winner of Miss Nigeria USA 2011 Pageant. Miss Ezurike will represent Nigeria in the annual Miss Africa USA Pageant, and she’ll compete with 57 representative of other African Countries for the coveted crown and title of Miss Africa USA 2011.

Chinenye Ezurike, Miss Nigeria USA, is an ambassador of RED PUMP PROJECT and plans to create and raise AWARENESS about HIV/AIDS in Africa and USA especially among women and youths.

Chinenye Ezurike is a Senior at Eastern Illinois University, where she’s majoring in Family and Consumer Science and minoring in Business Administration.

Breaking News: Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) Bans Dbanj’s Oliver Twist

In another odd move by NBC, the government has ordered all broadcasting stations in Nigeria to immediately stop playing Dbanj’s latest hit, Oliver Twist. The song was apparently banned because “lewd lyrics.” You have to wonder where the lewd lyrics are coming from in this song.

This comes less than a month after 2shotz’s song Super Man dead was banned for the use of the word Alomo.

Don Jazzy had this to say via twitter “Tweeps pls worry not about the banning of Oliver o. e dey happen. we’re kinda used to it now. Ijebu garri no dey do advert but e dey sell”

Pretty interesting developments from NBC. One has to wonder where are priorities are in Nigeria.

Tiffany Amber Presents “Fearless Luxury” A/W 2011/12 Ad Campaign | Naija4Lyfe

Tiffany Amber collections are incredibly opulent affairs. Never one to follow trends, the A/W 2011/12 collection stayed very true to the brand’s aesthetic. Silks in its various forms, sumptuous velvets and rich coral and gunmetal embellishments, in shades of orange, hues of blue, gold and nude tones create an effect that is the true definition of “Fearless Luxury”; luxe beyond any luxury lover’s imagination.

In the designer’s bid to continue to push the boundaries for her prints, four images of beads taken from the archives of award winning photographer Vitor Politis were ethically produced for the collection.

According to the designer Folake Folarin-Coker, “This is my favourite collection so far. It embodies a multitude of women; classic yet youthful, sexy yet demure, vibrant yet sophisticated.”
